Geolocation uses the GPS built into a mobile device to accurately map device location. Typical sources of geolocation data include:

  • BidStream
  • Panel
  • Telcos

Cuebiq maintains direct relationships with 100+ apps that reach a diverse base of opted-in and anonymous devices. These partnerships enable us to collect accurate and precise SDK location data at scale on a daily basis. Our platform then analyzes the location data to understand dwell time, frequency, context, POI mapping, and more to deliver meaningful insights.

Our Approach to Privacy

 

Consent:

We only collect data from users who opted in to share their location.

Transparency:

We require all app partners to disclose their relationship with Cuebiq, directly or by category, in their Privacy Policy.

Control:

We allow users to easily opt-out through several paths: app settings, device settings, TrustArc and the Cuebiq App.

Accountability:

We are NAI members, certified by TrustArc and TAG, and Privacy Shield registered.

Glossary
  • Campaign Name – Name assigned to a campaign Cuebiq_Clara_Fall_2020
  • Brand – The advertising brand – McDonalds
  • Vertical – The type of business QSR, Retail, Hotel
  • Flight Dates – The date range of the campaign
  • Conversion window – The # of days after an impression is served that a visit will count.
  • POI (point of interest) – Term used for description a single store or location
  • Geoset – A list of POIs that you want to measure foot traffic to.
  • Cross-Device – A type of report measuring digital media served on desktop, tablets, mobile web browser and even in-app.
  • Mobile InApp – a type of report for pixels running only on in app inventory.
  • Customer ID – an ID that identifies a you the client
  • Campaign ID – an ID that identifies a single campaign
  • Report ID – an ID that identifies a single report
