We are looking for a skilled and passionate front-end developer. Applicants should be proactive and must able to quickly adapt to new technologies as well as continuously learn & test new technologies. This individual will maintain current products and also develop new features and products. Applicants should be proficient with modern web dev frameworks and libraries such as React or Angular, or at least willing to learn them.
Required Skills:
2/3+ years experience in web development
HTML5
CSS3
Strong knowledge of ES5, ES6 JavaScript (Vanilla)
At least one the following JS libraries/frameworks: React, Angular or Backbone (we use React)
Experience with responsive UI development
Experience designing complex user experiences
Experience on cross platform/browser compatibility and best practices adoption
Knowledge of HTTP and REST
Solid computer science background
Desired Skills:
Experience with data and geo visualization libraries such as: D3, dc.js, Leaflet, Google Charts
Experience with build and deployment systems (Gulp or Grunt or Webpack)
Experience with SASS
Experience with GIT (we use Github)
Experience with AWS
Experience with *nix environments and shell
